چکیده
متاورس به عنوان قلمرو مجازی جدید، علیرغم ویژگیهای سرگرم کننده اش، با تهدیدات زیادی همراه است. این دنیای هولناک امروز و جذاب برای آینده که در حال توسعه است؛ در کنار مزایا، چالش هایی همراه دارد و به عنوان موضوعی نو در سیاستگذاری کیفری نگریسته میشود. دنیای متاورس که ایجاد انگاره های دیجیتال به فرد، تجربه فرضی از واقعی بودن را می دهد، او را در دنیایی کاملا شبیه سازی شده با دنیای واقعی می گذارد تا زیست دیگری را تجربه کرده و ترسیم دنیای آینده خود را در این فضا و دور از محدودیت های دنیای جسمانی متصور سازد. هدف مقاله، شناسایی انواع جرایم بالقوه قابل ارتکاب و همچنین فرضیه مجازات مرتکب است. افزایش تعداد کاربران و وقوع اعمال جدیدی که می‌توان صرفاً در متاورس انجام داد و ضرورت سیاستگذاری، موضوعاتی است که مقاله به آن می پردازد. نویسنده پیشنهاد ایجاد شاخه جدیدی عنوان حقوق کیفری متا را دارد و مداخله فوری در سیاستگذاری کیفری جهت محافظت از کاربران را ضروری میداند.
