Abstract

One of the prerequisites for reaching appropriate public participation paradigm (model) in administration of the country, is reviewing existing patterns and methods in other countries, and benefiting from their scientific backing, learning from their practical experience, and trying to apply this findings with attention to the specific condition and requirements of the country. In this research, we try to do three mentioned stages briefly, about one of the new participation methods, called policy crowdsourcing. So in this article, we first present brief typology of public participation methods, then define crowdsourcing and present its executive methods, advantages, requirements, and challenges and in this regard, also mention examples of foreign policy crowdsourcing experiences. Finally, we mention some points about the transfer this method to Iran’s administrative and policymaking system and introduce the policy crowdsourcing early samples in Iran.
