چکیده
توافق عادیسازی روابط ایران و عربستان سعودی در سال 1401 نقطه عطفی در روابط دوجانبه این دو کشور قلمداد میشود. این توافق به یک دوره تقابل شدید از سال 1395 به بعد پایان داده و بستری جدیدی برای گسترش تعامل و همکاری بین دو تهران- ریاض فراهم کرد. سؤال اصلی پژوهش حاکی از آن است که چه عواملی در افزایش تمایل عربستان سعودی در عادیسازی روابط با ایران موثر بودند، چشمانداز آن چگونه است و چه راهکارهای برای حفظ و تقویت آن وجود دارد؟ در پاسخ، پژوهش استدلال دارد ترکیبی از سه متغیر عدم قطعیت ناشی از تغییر در نظم بینالمللی، ملاحظات داخلی دولت جدید عربستان (حفظ نظام سیاسی دولت جدید، نیاز به تنوع بخشی به اقتصاد و افزایش حمایت اجتماعی طبقات جدید) و عملگرایی حاکم بر رهبری جدید عربستان منجر به اتخاذ راهبرد پوشش ریسک راهبردی در سیاست خارجی گردید. یکی از ارکان اصلی این راهبرد نیز کاهش تنش و عادیسازی روابط با ایران بود. یافتههای همچنین پژوهش نشان میدهد عادیسازی صورت گرفته بین ایران و عربستان در مرحله ابتدایی بوده و پایداری آنها در سالهای آتی نیازمند اعتمادسازی، استفاده از الگوی حل تعارض سازنده و همچنین مقابله با تاثیرگذاری شوکهای داخلی و خارجی است.
