Since the 1981s, the local content has entered the scientific literature &various researches have been done in the field of subject area. Therefore, the present study has used a systematic review of the literature with the aim of studying &summarizing the research literature in the field of local content, identifying research gaps &presenting suggestions in this field. By examining the keywords in the databases of this field &based on pre-determined criteria, appropriate articles were selected &the content of the articles were carefully studied &analyzed based on the answers to the questions of the present study. The results showed; Market stability &size, design &comprehensiveness of policies, industrial capabilities, social, cultural, economic &symbolic capital, government support &competitive incentives are the main factors for the effectiveness of local content in domestic industrial development. It will increase the promotion of localization of products, increase social participation, networking opportunities, competitive development, labor market &the development of the local economy.
