The significance of the research lies in the fact that, despite their similar cultural backgrounds, the two countries have adopted different approaches to food security policymaking due to their distinct economic and political structures. The main research question examines how food security policymaking in Iran and Turkey can be analyzed and compared based on each country’s political, economic, and institutional components. The study employs a qualitative and comparative methodology, with data collected through documentary analysis and documented interviews. Data were analyzed using qualitative content analysis to extract the main themes of food security policymaking in each country.<strong> </strong>The findings indicate that Turkey, by adopting a market-oriented, technology-driven, and participatory approach, has improved its level of food security and agricultural productivity. In contrast, Iran’s supportive and interventionist policies, while helping to control price fluctuations, have faced challenges such as low productivity and financial pressure on the government. این پژوهش به بررسی تطبیقی سیاستگذاری امنیت غذایی در ایران و ترکیه می‌پردازد. اهمیت مطالعه در آن است که دو کشور با پیشینه‌های فرهنگی مشابه اما ساختارهای اقتصادی و سیاسی متفاوت، رویکردهای گوناگونی در سیاستگذاری امنیت غذایی اتخاذ کرده‌اند. پرسش اصلی پژوهش آن است که سیاستگذاری امنیت غذایی در ایران و ترکیه چگونه بر اساس مؤلفه‌های سیاسی، اقتصادی و نهادی هر کشور قابل تحلیل و مقایسه است. روش پژوهش کیفی و تطبیقی است و داده‌ها از طریق تحلیل اسنادی گردآوری شده‌اند. تحلیل داده‌ها بر پایه تحلیل محتوای کیفی انجام گرفته تا مضامین اصلی سیاستگذاری امنیت غذایی در هر کشور استخراج شود. یافته‌ها نشان می‌دهد ترکیه با اتخاذ رویکرد بازارمحور، فناورانه و مشارکتی توانسته است سطح امنیت غذایی و بهره‌وری کشاورزی را بهبود بخشد، در حالی که سیاست‌های حمایتی و مداخله‌گرایانه ایران، هرچند به کنترل نوسانات قیمتی کمک کرده، اما با چالش‌هایی همچون بهره‌وری پایین و فشار مالی بر دولت همراه بوده است. https://jppolicy.ut.ac.ir/article_107869_7292959d0ea637958f0c245e61f3bcf2.pdf
